Colorshow is going to FREAK YOU OUT!

Photobucket

You heard it here first on The Denim Boa - Colorshow is going to blow up in 2010! Hailing from Lake Tahoe this foursome fabricates a wide range of beats from upbeat party drops to deep soulful real life laments & reflections. Colorshow or should I say Kendal Naughton (Lead Vocals) captaviates your soul & rocks your world! At only 21 Kendal has a voice far beyond her years & this voice is the glue of Colorshow but not the only voice; Colorshows first album "Freak Your Heart Out" is littered with upbeat raps from Galen Gifford (producer/vocalist ) & Benjamin Cooper ( Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist) who bring a unique sound mixed with the back-up harmony of Nava Plotsky. I have had the pleasure of following Colorshow (or M-Theory "old band name) for the past few years and their music gets better & more dynamic with every song they produce thanks to the skills of Galen who produces first class beats with the vision of a true artist. Colorshow has just started to do "live" shows and I am super pumped to see what they come up with next!

The band describes themselves as...

Colorshow is an American pop/hip-hop band that formed in California in 2006. The group is composed of lead vocalist Kendal Naughton, vocalist/MC Galen Gifford, producer/vocalist Nava Plotsky and Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Benjamin Cooper. The genesis of the Colorshow family began in Lake Tahoe, where four friends from very diverse musical backgrounds came together in a cabin in the snow to celebrate, write and record what would become their debut album Freak Your Heart Out. Since the album’s release the band has been featured in film, television and a wide array of new media outlets. Their sound has been described as “Outkast meets Fleetwood Mac,” an energetic blend of up-tempo hip-hop infused with rich melodic textures and undeniably catchy pop hooks.
