Colorshow has been moving and shaking the West Coast (literally) in 2010. I wrote a blog about Colorshow in January before they rocked my birthday party at Native Lounge in SLO. Colorshow brought down the house that night and I could truly say it was the best birthday I have ever had!
I wanted to do a follow up on Colorshow to update you all on the progress of this amazing & talented band!
Colorshow ROCKED my Birthday and they got local ink from rag-rant junkie Glen Starkey from the New Times SLO.
Following the smashing success of their show in SLO Colorshow teamed up with some of the biggest names in the music business to raise money for the Haiti victems. The brand new band Colorshow raised more than $15k for Haiti relief by throwing a party "Celebrating Life" at the world famous BLVD 3 club on Friday night. The celebrity turnout included Daniel Bedingfiled, Jessie Metcalfe, Common, & Judith Hill.
More than 500 of the hottest LA socialites in attendance all gave at least $30 at the door, or $500 for a table. It was a night to remember as Access Hollywood, LA Weekly and LA Times covered the event.
Nava and Ben Cooper were instrumental on getting this party off the ground with very little PR experience; they relied on the love in their hearts, and their contacts in their blackberries!
The Vancouver Olympic Games would not be the same without a little Colorshow to motivate the world-class athletes before winning a medal. Watch as America’s superstar Julia Mancuso waits out some bad weather rocking out to Colorshow!

Colorshow had the honor of headlining the welcome home medal celebration for Julia Mancuso upon her arrival home in Lake Tahoe. The party was held at Northstar at Tahoe & thousands flocked out to see Julia and once again Colorshow blew minds with their music!
Julia Mancuso was on the George Lopez show the day after her arrival back in the US and she gave mad love to Colorshow & even did a shaky karaoke of a song Colorshow wrote just for her. It is great to see the love she has for the band & their music!

Also; Colorshows song “Beautiful & Free” is featured on the new commercial for LaCroix Water featuring Julia Mancuso check out the video it is really cool!
Colorshow has had a crazy last two months and for this amazing new band it is just the start of a crazy, love-filled, successful run in the music business! I am really excited to see the music videos these kids drop this summer & how Colorshow grows as a band closing out 2010! Tons of new music to come! Next stop on Colorshows path to greatness is Tahoe Fashion Week!
